Between the 1st and 31st July 2008 James Price and I travelled between the hamlet of James in France and the village of Lenka in Slovakia. We cycling 1400km and did the rest by train, boat and on foot.

The documentation of the trip includes official visits and presentations with the respective mayors, meeting the inhabitants of both villages and a pair of Polaroid photographs that record each of the 28 days of cycling.

On reaching Lenka we sent postcards to the residents of James. We plan to petition the mayors to twin the two villages.
