Issue 2 of The One Day Magazine

We wrote to a hundred people around the world and asked them to draw and send us an A4 picture of a bird on the 1st August 2000. We wanted to create a temporary community of bird artists who would be drawing their bird and thinking of all the other people around the world drawing their birds at the same time.

The paper birds "flew" to us via airmail from 19 different countries and 81 people. The results of this mass-migration are documented in the magazine, and were featured in two exhibitions in Berlin.
