Translation of newspaper article from the Berlin tabloid: The BZ:

Gallerist Lenka Clayton exhibits her neighbours Art!

"Show Me What's Hanging Over Your Sofa!"

"What that's supposed to be art?" This is a question that Lenka Clayton, 23, hears regularly when her neighbours in Kopenhagener Stra_e come into her gallery. It gave her an idea: Why not exhibit the art that her neighbours have in their homes? Lenka Clayton was surprised by the positive reception to her question, altogether 71 people took part - lending almost 100 art works, including childrens scribbles, grandparents memories and, of course, the obligatory German Deer. Adelheid Jackel, 35, donated an embroidered psalm from her grandmother. She loved the idea of bringing a private living room into a gallery. Another lender is Jakob Khn, 31. He is separating himself from an oil painting by his Grandfather for the exhibition. So that the walls of Prenzlauerberg are not completely empty, there is a small sign for each participant that says "This artwork currently hangs in the Gallery Luna international".
